Aren't you...that boy who exploded?
[Just another peaceful uneventful day of classes at scenic Beacon Academy.]
~**KA-BOOOM**~
[Yep, just another peaceful day at Beacon Academy.
Yang bit back a snicker as a somewhat distant explosion explosion echoed down the halls. Far from being a concern, the somewhat familiar sound of something somewhere detonating was an almost common occurrence. After all, when many of your students used weapons that were also some degree of firearm, these things were bound to happen, never mind the temperamental nature of Dust in general.
In fact, that explosion was probably a good indication that the person she was going to meet was already in the weapons lab.
Blake and Weiss were steadily getting more and more used to Ruby's...enthusiasm for all things weapons (well, Blake was at least), but it still mostly fell to Yang to act as a sounding board for Ruby's latest ideas and upgrades for Crescent Rose. And since Ember Celica could use slight re-alignment after their last practice session, it was a decent enough reason for some old-style Sibling Shop Talk.
Ruby had said she'd be awhile yet working on school assignments with Weiss but maybe they'd finished early. Or the Ice Queen had gotten so exasperated she just let Ruby go. Yang was sure she'd find out in a sec as she poked her head into the still, somewhat smoking, weapons lab. There was indeed a smaller figure off to the side haphazardly waving away the obscuring smoke.]
Just couldn't wait to get started could you, sis?

With a hacking cough, he was trying to clear away the smoke from his latest mistake when he heard someone calling to him. Er, well, sort of...]
I, uh, think you're looking for someone else.
[Still, he approached the older girl with a sheepish, hesitant smile.]

Oh. Yeah, you're...definitely not Ruby.
[Obviously.
She glances slightly over the stranger's shoulder at the lingering smoke clouding the workshop.]
Umm everything okay in here?

I hear that a lot.
[No, really, she does. It's like, probably the #3 most common phrase spoken around Beacon.]
Need a hand cleaning up? [An amused pause.] Or hiding something before Professor Goodwitch comes around?
[Something blowing up around Beacon isn't unusual, but where damage to school property occurs, Glynda Goodwitch isn't often far behind. Plus while she's here and waiting for Ruby she might as well help a fellow student out.]

Help would be great. I should definitely clean up from the Dust. [He laughs again, less sheepish this time, because really it's just ridiculous.] And, uh, hopefully the smoke clears quickly...
