They come for you, come for you. So get up, get on the move, you got eyes on you

But then again, when the other alternative was either baking your brains out farming, or falling asleep with a fishing pole in your hands? Yeah, he'd rather be here. At least fighting monsters was something familiar, and a deft hand with the pickaxe had gotten him some valuable ore. Okay, maybe being stuck here wasn't SO bad but-

A shriek rent the air in this part of the cavern and, dropping everything, Daniel rushed toward it. It was hard to tell where it'd come from, with the way the sounds bounced off the cave walls, but his more vampiric senses would get him the rest of the way; he just had to let his feet do most of the work.

Bearing a sword, he cleaved his way through any monsters he couldn't dodge around or past, soon finding himself at the sight of the trouble: someone being swarmed. Daniel stood there for two haggard breaths, judging the situation, before he jumped forward, the sickly green mists parting, coiling back in behind him at his wake.

"Hold on! I'm coming!"

comments
