The Ball having the Sword of Shadows was all well and good. Its magic spell suited a rogue, especially one as squirmy and chaotic as this party's. But sometimes it pained Fabian, seeing The Ball wield weapon with what couldn't be called good form. So Fabian offered to teach him a bit, the basics, if only for his peace of mind. The more he'd thought about it, leading up to the first lesson, the more he felt it could be fun. Not that he'd... Thought about it very often! It was simply there in the calendar on his crystal, so of course he saw that and remembered it was coming up. Anyway, there really was something nice about the idea of passing on his talent and know-how to one of his friends.

And then The Ball had shown up dressed, basically, in business formal. Maybe this would simply be a headache. Fabian gave him a very flat look-over, then shook his head. "The hell. What do you think you're going to do dressed like that?"
