I will be writin' a brand new chapter
The Pokegear hadn't been difficult to figure out, unlike the rest of this situation. It was very much like a crystal with a less elegantly simple design (very clunky) and Fabian had been able to record a video asking for some kind of explanation. He had a little information already. The pack that woman had given him, before pushing him out the door, contained a book that - at an admittedly quick glance - gave him some idea of how the creatures here worked, at least.
Fabian didn't see why his new dog should fight things; he was certain that he himself could handily take out any monsters that size. Plus, if Fabian were to speak candidly, he wouldn't be able to deny that these monsters were more cute than threatening. At least, this one was. It kept running ahead, stopping to bark, and then trundling back over to Fabian. Considering that, Fabian wasn't feeling scared right now so much as terribly inconvenienced.
Well, his dog seemed eager to get moving, and that was alright by Fabian. Doing nothing but wait around for responses to his message certainly wouldn't do, so Fabian shouldered the backpack and started through town, heading for the grassy path that stretched out from there.
